Lacey Jarvie (Ayre)

Lacey is the founder and director of Ayre Allied Health, a speech pathology service born from a desire to create a supportive, collaborative space for individuals with communication differences and their families. Ayre Allied Health was established to provide high-quality, individualised therapy that empowers clients, respects lived experiences, and supports meaningful, functional outcomes across the lifespan.

Lacey holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and is currently completing a Master of Autism, due for completion in 2026. She is ADOS-2 trained and has participated in multidisciplinary autism assessments for individuals of all ages, contributing her expertise in communication and social interaction to support accurate, strengths-based diagnostic processes.

With clinical interests in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), social communication, literacy, and complex communication needs, Lacey draws on a wide range of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to each person. Her approach is grounded in respect, and genuine collaboration.

Lacey has undertaken extensive professional development, including training in Sounds-Write, HANEN – More Than Words, LAMP Words for Life, MYO Munchee, PEERS for adolescents, and Feeding Therapy Australia.

Outside of her work at Ayre Allied Health, Lacey enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and getting outdoors with her energetic lab-border collie, Onix.
